The Youth Center will continue to be open during their regular business hours but will not be providing after hour programs. Dial 911 for all police/fire/emergency needs

The City of Pacific is small, but we face the same hazards as larger cities. We work proactively to meet these challenges and prepare our citizens for emergencies. The city promotes an "all hazards" approach to disaster preparedness and encourages personal involvement and training.

We are trained
Partnering with the White River Valley Citizen Corps Council and with regional partners, our city supports citizen-based training including Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training and Map Your Neighborhood (MYN). For more information on these programs, please visit Auburn Emergency Management.

We have a plan
Our city's Comprehensive Emergency Plan (CEMP) organizes Pacific’s approach to all four phases of emergency management. This dynamic plan calls for staff training, critical thinking about current hazards, and reasonable mitigation measures to reduce future hazards. The plan also provides guidance for responders during disasters.

We've been tested
Through a multi-year training and exercise program, we are testing our CEMP and staff readiness. This program calls for a regular schedule of discussion- and operations-based exercises that are written, conducted and evaluated in compliance with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Protocol (HSEEP). Pacific also maintains compliance with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and functions under the Incident Command System (ICS).
